Family Violence Program
A community-designed family violence program to help families heal from domestic violence and build healthy relationships.
The Lac La Biche Family Violence program was designed in collaboration with 24 community agencies. The program helps to assist families and individuals and identify supports they need to make changes. Hope Haven takes supported referrals to ensure clients follow through in accessing services.
New Perspectives for Men Program
New Perspectives for Women Program
Hope Haven is proud to run a special series of programming for men and women. This 12 week socio-educational programs is offered 3 times per year. It teaches men and women, in gender specific groups, the dynamics and impacts of domestic violence on themselves and their children, and the characteristics of healthy relationships.
The program is facilitated by both males and females, and includes practical tools for making lifestyle changes.
