Emergency Accommodations for Women and Children

We are open for intakes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accommodate women and children that are fleeing abusive family or social situations. We serve individuals living in Lac La Biche and surrounding communities, including residents of all municipalities and aboriginal communities.

The Hope Have Emergency Shelter offers:

  • Emergency accommodations including shelter, food, emergency clothing, medicine

  • Safe, secure facility staffed 24 hours per day for a maximum of 21 women and children

  • Fenced outdoor space with playground, gardens and a fire pit

  • In-house programming and counselling sessions

  • Childcare programming

Hope Haven runs a 24/7 crisis line for both women and men needing crisis support.
